Aisneach Socks

£5.50

Meaning “ribbed” in Scottish Gaelic, Aisneach is a simple but fun sock pattern designed to show off any yarn to its best! The socks feature textured ribbed columns running up the side of the sock, heel and leg, giving beautiful texture while still being a simple and quick knit. Knit from the toe up with a gusset and heel flap, these socks are a great mix of relaxing knit and engaging pattern – perfect for travel knitting or chilling with a film! With four widths and flexible length fitting, these are a great pattern for everyone. Combine with the matching hat, cowl and fingerless mitts to stay cosy all around!

The pattern is fully written and the ribbed pattern is also charted so whichever way you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern, and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. You will also need to know how to do Judy’s Magic Cast-On and a stretchy bind off like Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off.
