Cranachan

£5.50

Cranachan is a knitting pattern as delicious as its namesake. With masses of cosy and luxurious garter stitch for easy knitting, a delicate lace edging adding interest and completed with a beautiful rippling border, this asymmetrical shawl is a fun and engaging knit! Designed with three sizes in mind, you can pick the one that works best for you! Knit it with 100g of 4 ply weight yarn for a neat shawlette or with 300g for a shawl that almost doubles as a blanket!. The sample is knit with 200g of Eden Cottage Yarns Coniston Fingering, for a shawl that’s easy to wear, cosy and so fluffy!

The pattern is fully written and charted so whichever way you like to read your patterns, you’re covered! The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos.
