This is one of the basic stitches of two colour brioche!
A piece of brioche knitting with the yarn at the front
1. Bring yarn to front under needle. (If your yarn is already at the front you may skip this step.)
The first stitch on the left hand needle has been slipped to the right hand needle
2. Slip stitch purlwise.
The yarn has been lifted over the needle to the back.
3. Lift yarn over needle to back. (If your next stitch is a purl, bring the yarn under the needle to the front.)
