Orithyia

£5.50

Orithyia was the Ancient Greek goddess of the cold mountain winds. This shawl will keep you warm at the top of any mountain. It is a stunning heart-shaped shawl, worked top down in gorgeously warm and soft garter stitch and with two options for a bold striped edging.

You can see the two variations in the photos. The Zigzag shawl has a blue main colour and grey contrast colour and the Plain shawl has a grey main colour and blue contrast colour. I made both shawls from one skein of each yarn!

The pattern has written instructions only and includes suggestions on variations and tips on changing the size. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted. There’s a screenshot of the pattern and a list of the stitches used at the bottom of the photos. These additional techniques are used: provisional cast on, garter stitch tab and stretchy cast-off.
