Togair - Desirable Socks!
Before we start talking about Togair, can I just mention how perfect socks are as summer holiday knitting? Easy to pick up and put down if someone starts screaming, you’re never too far from the end of a round (or a needle - I tend to think of it this way!), there’s no big pile of knitting in your lap to overheat you and it’s ridiculously easy to just throw it in a handbag and take it out with you anywhere! As I said, socks are a perfect summer holiday project!
Togair is the third pattern in my Socks in Love collection. I’m still in love with this stitch. It’s really easy to do and it’s incredibly flexible. This time I went for a V-pattern repeating down the leg and pointing to the toes. Togair means covet and desire in Scottish Gaelic, and I really hope you desire them too! This is the only pair of socks in the collection where the two socks are identical and not mirror images of each other! The yarn I used for Togair is Skein Queen Crush in Fairy Dust and the colours are just fantastic! I love all these multi-coloured speckles, and have a look at how gorgeous they are on the heel!
If you’ve already bought the Socks in Love eBook, Togair is on it’s way to you now! Or you can buy the patterns individually and any pattern purchases made will be discounted from the collection price so you’ll never pay more than the maximum price for the ebook.
If you want to find out what I’m up to between blog posts you can keep an eye on what I’m up to on Instagram, or come and chat with me in my Ravelry group – I’d love to hear about what you’re knitting! If you’d like an exclusive 40% discount on future releases sign up to my newsletter – I only send out emails when I release a new pattern or am having a sale, so generally you’ll only hear from me about once a month.
